The Serahl facility in Bangkok

Our Story

Care Rooted in Respect and Warmth

Serahl began with a simple understanding: older adults deserve more than basic assistance. They deserve a community, a rhythm to each day, and people who genuinely care.

Who We Are

Built on Years of Listening

Serahl was founded in Bangkok with a quiet conviction: that the experience of growing older should be met with dignity, patience, and genuine human connection. The facility takes its name from a Thai word for quiet continuity โ€” a small but meaningful signal of the values we carry into every interaction.

Over the years, we have shaped our programmes by listening to families navigating difficult decisions and to residents adjusting to new surroundings. That process of listening still shapes how we work today.

We are not a large institution. We choose to remain at a scale where our team can know each resident by name, understand their preferences, and notice when something feels off โ€” before it becomes a concern.

Mission & Values

What Guides Every Decision We Make

Dignity First

Every resident's sense of identity and self-worth matters. Our care never diminishes a person; it supports who they are.

Steady Presence

We show up consistently. Families and residents can rely on us to be present, informed, and genuinely available.

Community of Care

Care at Serahl is a shared effort โ€” between our staff, families, and the residents themselves โ€” built on trust and open communication.

Our People

The Team Behind the Care

Our caregivers, nurses, and coordinators are drawn to this work because they believe in it. That shows in how they approach each resident and each day.

Standards & Protocols

How We Keep Our Commitments

Individual Care Planning

Each resident has a written care plan reviewed regularly with the nursing team, updated as health and personal needs change over time.

Safety Infrastructure

Personal call systems, secure premises, medical-grade equipment in nursing rooms, and trained staff response protocols are maintained throughout the facility.

Privacy & Discretion

Health records and family communications are handled with full discretion and in line with Thai personal data protection standards.

Medical Coordination

We maintain working relationships with Bangkok hospitals and specialist clinics. Referrals, follow-ups, and accompanying support are managed by our care team.

Staff Development

All care staff undergo structured onboarding and ongoing training in elder care practices, manual handling, and person-centred communication.

Family Engagement Policy

We view family members as partners in care, not visitors. Open visiting hours and scheduled family meetings are a standard part of residential and nursing programmes.

Senior Residential Care in Bangkok โ€” A Human Approach

Bangkok's landscape of elder care has grown considerably in recent years, but the quality of a facility ultimately comes down to the people within it. At Serahl, located in Suan Luang, we've built our reputation one relationship at a time โ€” with residents who have found a second home here, and with families who felt genuinely informed and supported throughout their loved one's stay.

Our approach draws from both professional nursing standards and a deep respect for Thai cultural values around family, community, and care for elders. Daily life at Serahl is structured but never rigid โ€” mealtimes, activity sessions, and rest periods follow a gentle rhythm that most residents adapt to with ease.

We work with seniors facing a wide range of health and mobility circumstances. Whether someone is largely independent and simply benefits from companionship and meals, or requires complex nursing oversight and rehabilitation support, our programmes are designed to meet people where they are.

Families considering residential care often carry concerns that go beyond practical logistics. Questions about emotional wellbeing, cultural familiarity, and what daily life will actually feel like are entirely natural. We welcome those questions and take them seriously during any initial conversation or facility visit.
