1. Definitions

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website or submitting an enquiry, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement on your own behalf or on behalf of a Resident. These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand.

3. Service Description

Serahl provides residential elderly care in Bangkok, Thailand, across three programmes: Daytime Companionship, Residential Care, and Dedicated Nursing Care. Service availability is subject to current facility capacity. We reserve the right to assess a Resident's suitability for a programme and to recommend transitions between tiers as health needs evolve. Geographic restriction: services are provided on-site at our Bangkok facility only.

4. User Responsibilities

5. Prohibited Activities

6. Care Service Terms

Scope of Care

The specific scope of services included in each programme is detailed in the care services agreement provided at enrolment. The monthly fee covers the services described in the relevant programme tier. Items outside the scope of the programme tier (such as specialist external consultations or prescribed medications) are noted separately in the agreement.

Care Plan

A written care plan will be developed for Residents entering Residential or Nursing Care. This plan is reviewed at regular intervals and updated with the Family Representative's input. Serahl reserves the right to adjust a Resident's programme tier if health needs change materially, following consultation with the Family Representative.

Visiting

Open visiting hours apply to Residential and Nursing Care programmes. Serahl may implement temporary visiting restrictions in response to public health guidance or facility-wide health events, with reasonable notice provided to families.

7. Payment Terms

Programme fees are invoiced monthly in Thai Baht (āļŋ). Payment is due within 7 calendar days of the invoice date. Accepted payment methods are detailed in the care services agreement. Late payment may result in service suspension after reasonable notice. All quoted prices are inclusive of the services described in each programme tier.

Refund and Notice Policy

Termination of a care arrangement requires 30 days' written notice from either party, except in cases of emergency health transfer, safety risk, or material breach. Unused prepaid fees within the notice period are refunded on a pro-rata basis. Admission fees, if applicable, are non-refundable once a Resident has taken occupancy.

Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice — please consult qualified healthcare professionals for clinical decisions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Thai law, Serahl shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or our services. Our liability for direct damages shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant care programme in the month preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Serahl, its staff, and its representatives harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these terms or your conduct on facility premises or in connection with our services.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate a care arrangement as set out in the care services agreement. Serahl may terminate with immediate effect in cases involving a serious safety risk to the Resident, other residents, or staff. Upon termination, the Resident's personal belongings must be collected within a reasonable timeframe agreed between both parties.

13. Dispute Resolution

We encourage families to raise concerns directly with our Facility Director in the first instance. Most matters can be resolved through open conversation. If a formal resolution is needed, disputes shall be subject to Thai law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok, Thailand. Mediation may be pursued as an alternative before litigation.
